Frequently Asked Questions
Do you accept my dental insurance?
We accept most major dental insurance policies and are preferred providers for Delta, Cigna and Superior dental plans. We'll file out-of-network claims as a courtesy to our patients. For information about how we can work with your specific plan, give us a call.
Do you offer financing?
Our office works with CareCredit, which offers a variety of plans. We also accept cash, checks, and credit cards. Read more about our payment options.
What is TMJ therapy and occlusal adjustment?
TMJ refers to a group of conditions affecting the temporomandibular joint, which can contribute to neck or jaw discomfort, headaches, difficulty eating or speaking, and other irritating symptoms. One approach to correcting TMJ problems is occlusal adjustment, which involves reshaping the peaks and valleys of your teeth for a more comfortable bite. See our Patient Services page to learn more about TMJ therapy.
When can I eat after getting dental work?
Post-treatment care varies based on the procedures you've had, and the dentist provides specific instructions for your unique case. After anesthetic, you may experience lingering numbness. Eat softer foods while your mouth is numb, so that you don't accidentally bite or chew the soft tissues of your mouth.
Will you care for my entire family?
Yes, we will be glad to care for children and young adults. However, some complex pediatric cases may involve a referral to a pediatric dentist.
